First time I saw graffiti writing was at a local festival in my hometown in 2002. What caught my attention was the idea of writing your name and leaving the focus on the work, while the artist remains unknown in the back scene. An approach I started to apply on my work later on. Also, this is one of the books that inspired me to create the nacultura concept back in 2008.
This book presents a unique perspective on graffiti writing with over 2.000 pieces from more than 180 artists. In 2004 Nicholas Ganz published this book (being his first book published) that combines his own perspective and the perspective of the artists as well. The book has been translated into 11 languages and became a world wide best seller.
